What is Keratin ?

Keratin protein : is basically a family of tough and insoluble proteins that can be found chiefly on areas like skin, hair, nails, nails, etc. It is a structural protein which forms a protective coating like  feather, wool, claws, nails, etc. in mammals and birds. In the hair industry, the keratin protein is found in large quantity in our hair and it helps to keep the hair strong and pliable. Our hair is made up of 80% keratin protein. Keratin protein is an important component of hair that helps to gain the original texture of hair, when damaged. 

The keratin protein structure is held together by keratin protein bonds called as cysteine bonds. These bonds are amino acids that help to attain the flexible and durable structure of keratin protein. The factor that determines the level of curliness of someone's hair is the number of cysteine bonds. People who have large amount of keratin protein have silky, soft and straight hair, while those who do not have keratin protein in sufficient quantity have dry, frizzy and curly hair.

Why is Keratin Protein use for Hair Straightening or keratin treatments ? 

Keratin protein hair straightening is also known as keratin treatment. This treatment is beneficial for those people who do not have those natural straight and silky hair.  This method of hair straightening is preferred over the other straightening methods like Japanese straightening or relaxers.
